Terms and Conditions for 50X Program Membership
1. Introduction
Welcome to the 50X Program Membership. By enrolling, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.
2. Program Overview
The 50X Program is a hands-on training initiative focusing on areas such as strategy, leadership, sales, marketing, and AI. It includes 10 sessions, networking opportunities, and access to industry leaders.
3. Membership Fees
Fee Structure: €275.00 excluding VAT per month for a 12-month period.
Payment Terms: Payments are due monthly in advance.
Late Payments: Late payments may incur additional charges or suspension of membership benefits.
12 month Agreement : Once you sign up to the program you are singing up for the 12 months.
4. Payment Methods
You may pay for your course by a credit, charge or debit card. You acknowledge and agree that SME Matters and the 50X Program will not have any liability whatsoever for any insufficient funds or other charges incurred by you as a result of attempts to charge, and/or place holds on, your specified payment method as contemplated by these Terms.
You agree to pay us, through our payment processors, all charges at the prices then in effect for any purchase in accordance with the applicable payment terms presented to you at the time of purchase. We reserve the right to correct, or to instruct our payment processor or financing partner to correct, any errors or mistakes, even if payment has already been requested or received.
All payments processed through our website are subject to Stripe's Services Agreement, which you agree to by completing a transaction. Please note also that we do not accept cheques.
Failure to comply with payment terms will result in restricting access to course resources and could lead to withdrawal from the course
5. Failed Payments
You must ensure that your card balance is sufficient when the instalments are due. If a payment fails due to insufficient funds or any other issue with the payment card, we will notify you via email and attempt to charge the card again within 7 days.
Your access to the 50X Program and associated resources will be suspended until the outstanding amount is paid in full.
Once the overdue payment is settled, your access to the Program will be reinstated as soon as possible after the successful payment.
If you fail to pay the subscription by the specified dates, we will proceed to cancel your access to the resources together with your booking and you will no longer have access to our services.
6. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellations must be made by email to 50X@smematters.ie. Refunds can only be issued to the original payment method used for the charge.
Cancellation by Participant:
Cancellations made more than 14 days before the program start date will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made between 14 and 7 days before the start date will receive a 50% refund.
No refunds for cancellations made less than 7 days before the start date.
A full refund will be issued when a cancellation is requested within a cooling off period of 14 days from the date of purchase and the course resources have not been accessed.
Once a participant has accessed the course, this indicates the use of service and express acceptance of the above terms and conditions and, no refunds will be issued as it negates the cooling off period.
Refunds will not be issued once the cooling-off period has ended or the course resources have been accessed.
Cancellation by Company: We reserve the right to cancel, postpone or modify the course delivery dates. This will only occur to such an extent as is necessary.
In the event of program cancellation by us, participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to a future program.
7. Substitutions and Transfers
Participant Substitution: Substitutions are permitted up to 48 hours before the program start date.
Program Transfers: Requests to transfer to a different program date must be made at least 14 days before the original start date and are subject to availability. If a cancellation is requested after a transfer to a different program, the original purchase date will be considered as a cooling off period start date.
8. Intellectual Property
All materials provided during the program are the intellectual property of SME Matters and the 50X Program and are for personal use only. Redistribution or reproduction without written consent is prohibited.
9. Code of Conduct
Participants are expected to conduct themselves professionally and respectfully. We reserve the right to remove any participant who disrupts the program or engages in inappropriate behaviour.
10. Data Protection
We are committed to protecting your personal data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
Online sessions may be recorded. You are not obliged to appear on camera, however if you do have your camera and your microphone on you may feature in the recording. Recordings are shared with participants via private and unlisted links. Any unauthorised sharing of the recordings is prohibited. Unauthorised recording during the Program is also prohibited.
11. Limitation of Liability
Our liability for any direct, indirect, or consequential losses arising from participation in the program is limited to the amount of the membership fee paid.

13. Force Majeure
Events Outside SME Matters and the 50X Program's Control:
The 50X Program will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform or delay in performance of any of its obligations under the Conditions that is caused by events outside reasonable control (a “Force Majeure Event”).
A Force Majeure Event includes any acts, events, non-occurrence, omission or accident beyond reasonable control and includes, in particular (without limitation) the following:
strikes, lockouts or other industrial action; or
civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack or (whether declared or not) threat or preparation for a war; or
fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic, other natural disaster; or
impossibility of the use of railways, shipping, aircraft, motor transport or other means of public or private transport; or
impossibility of the use of public or private telecommunication networks.
SME Matters and the 50X Program's obligations under the Agreement will be suspended for the period of the Force Majeure Event. We will take reasonable steps (if within its reasonable control) to bring the Force Majeure Event to a close or to find a solution by which the Program’s obligations under the Agreement can be performed despite the Force Majeure Event.

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Ireland (excluding Northern Ireland).
15. General Disclaimer
These Terms and Conditions are intended to provide general information only, and should not be considered as a substitute for advice covering any specific situation. Users should seek appropriate advice before taking or refraining from taking any action in reliance on any information contained in any part of this Program.
16. Confidentiality
Participants agree to maintain the confidentiality of any proprietary or sensitive information shared during the 50X Program. This includes, but is not limited to, business strategies, financial information, participant contributions, and program materials. Unauthorized sharing or reproduction of such information is strictly prohibited. Breaches of confidentiality may result in removal from the program without refund and possible legal action. Please read and agree to the full confidentiality agreement.
17. Marketing and Publicity
By enrolling in the 50X Program, you grant SME Matters the right to use your name, company name, and logo in promotional and marketing materials, including but not limited to social media posts, website content, case studies, and program success stories.
We will not disclose sensitive business information or personal data beyond what is necessary for promotional purposes. If you wish to opt out of this usage, please notify us in writing at 50X@smematters.ie before the program start date.
